What I Hope

“How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”
The things they say in Disney movies, thanks for the wise words Winnie the Pooh.

Moving back home and leaving my “home” for the past nine months was a lot harder than expected and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t cry out an excessive amount of tears. I never realized the influence my friends had on me and even the ones I just met recently, I will miss dearly. I am the type of person that falls in love with everyone I meet. There are just so many amazing and unique things in everybody’s personality, that I can’t help but have their footprints forever in my heart. This post is for what I hope for all my friends, new or old, from home or school, and for my family members.

I hope you make a huge mistake and think you learned your lesson.
I hope you make that exact same mistake again, and learn from it.
I hope you have your life planned out- and everything changes.
I hope the experiences you come across change your life.
I hope these experiences break you and swallow you whole.
But, I hope you build yourself back together and become independent.
I hope you take a lot of pictures.
I hope you believe in love and of course,
I hope you fall in love.
I hope you wear fun socks or match your hats to your shoes.
I hope you sing on the top of your lungs and burst into dance whenever you feel the music.
I hope you believe in second chances and in “things” greater than yourself.
I hope you love yourself.

But most of all, I hope you love the life you have. I hope you realize that the clock is ticking and that life is like an hourglass. So, I hope you treasure life and all the seconds that make up a day. I hope that you do what you love and love what you do. I hope you never grow tired of trying to better yourself. I hope you do something everyday that scares you and I hope that you are successful in all that you do or hope to become. Lastly, I hope you know that you are loved to pieces and that you have been blessed with one life; so live it today.

And remember, if hope is the only thing you have, keep going and never give up. Stay wonderful, stay mysterious, stay beautiful, stay happy, and stay hopeful.
