“What would you like to do if money were no object? How would you really enjoy spending your life? Well its so amazing as a result of our educational system students say: well we’d like to painters, we’d like to be poets, we’d like to be writers, but as everyone knows you can’t earn any money that way……..And forget the money. Because if you say that getting the money is the most important thing, you will spend your life completely wasting your time. You’ll be doing things you don’t like to doing in order to go on living that is to keep on doing things you don’t like doing. Which is stupid!” -Alan Watts

I have been realizing day by day to be grateful for the experiences that I have had and that it is okay to cut ties with anything or anyone who doesn’t bring me happiness. As much as I have been struggling, heartbroken, and have been feeling hurt – this is not the first time I have felt this way and this won’t be the last. Though all of this heartache, I feel the passion inside of me wanting to spread the empowerment we all have within us. It’s okay to be flawed. It’s okay to cry and to be human. Just remember, hope is on the way. Love is around the corner. Happiness will come knocking at your door.
Just make sure you answer.
